NSSA membership is required to sail at all NSSA events. Sailors need to hold individual membership to participate in any of the NSSA events each year. membership runs from April 1st to April 1st.
In addition to this, organisation membership is required for teams entering any of the team events. Sailors must sail as part of a team for the Double Handed Team Racing, National Youth Regatta, Single Handed Team Racing and Match Racing.
NSSA individual membership is run through the online system on the NSSA website. You can join from our home page.
NSSA Group membership for organisations is applied for by completion of a membership form (please contact our secretary) which contains full details for payment and submission.
On the 9th & 10th March our annual Double Handed Team Racing Championship will be held at Banbury Sailing Club , Oxfordshire
Racing will take place in fleets of doublehanders, which are provided by the organisers. Teams of two double-handed boats means that you only need four sailors to make a team. Each team will compete in multiple short races throughout the day, against other teams.
There will be 2 fleets,
Championship Fleet - sailed in Fireflys
Regatta Fleet - sailed in Fevas

Our Next Event - Single Handed Team Racing
This year our Single Handed Team Racing Event takes place at Bartley Sailing Club on the 14th & 15th October 2023
As usual, the event is sailed in Toppers which are provided by the NSSA. . This event is not just for Topper sailors, as it is about tactics rather than speed. There will be lots of very short races where the team score is all that matters. Teams will consist of 3 sailors and it is a lot of fun!
Cost per team is £102 and the entry deadline is the 1st October
